Early 19th century Imari teapot by Minton Amherst

Amherst Japan teapot produced by the Minton factory, Stoke on Trent, between 1830 and 1840. Amherst Japan is a noted line of the Imari style popular at the time. This teapot is in excellent condition for its age, with no visible chips or similar damage to the exterior. There are some hairline cracks to the glaze on the interior as shown in the photos.
