Hand-carved book slide

Intricate hand-carved details showing vine leaves. Indian manufacture. 
In lovely condition and working order. Minor damage to base with missing part as seen on photos but this is not visible when in use and doesn’t affect the functionality either.
Length approximately 46 cm, to 77 cm when the slide is extended.
